Fodor's Review

An East Village dining institution, Cafe Mogador has been serving above-average Moroccan cuisine in a date-friendly, candlelit atmosphere since 1983, and it still draws crowds for dinner and brunch. Start with an order of creamy hummus to share, then dig into one of the classic tagine stews, served with couscous, or some tasty meat kebabs.
