Fodor's Expert Review Inn on La Loma Plaza

Surrounded by thick walls, this early 1800s Pueblo Revival building—and the surrounding gardens—capture the spirit and style of Spanish-colonial Taos. The rooms are appointed with fresh-cut flowers, Pueblo-style fireplaces, coffeemakers, and Mexican-tile bathrooms, and many have kitchenettes along with private patios or decks. The living room has a well-stocked library with books on Taos and art.
