Dishes you're already familiar with receive novel twists, including lasagna with ricotta, mascarpone, pecorino Romano, and a hearty rabbit Bolognese sauce, and chicken posole with a farm egg, tomatillos, and avocado. The lamb burger is one of the best in town, and Joseph's doesn't skimp on the desserts either—consider silky butterscotch pudding with caramel sauce and sea salt, or tres leches cake with burnt-strawberry meringue and blackberry sauce.
