Fodor's Expert Review Zarkana
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Created for New York City's Radio City Music Hall, Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana spent two summers there before landing at Aria. Because it wasn't initially intended to sit among seven other Cirques on the Strip, it's more like a "greatest hits" show in the company's original style. That general approach makes it a bit repetitive, particularly of Mystere, and lacking the grand distinctions of the Beatles and Michael Jackson–themed titles. But for Cirque newbies, the concept of an abandoned theater coming back to life with the ghosts of circuses past will nonetheless deliver the company's trademark sense of wonder.
