This kitschy lounge, which features a replica of the floating boats that once carried Egyptian royalty down the Nile, has been transformed in recent years into a short-term room for everyone from Blues Traveler and Plain White Ts to Wayne Newton. When not rocking out to name-brand bands, the space is thumping with beats from local bands. "The Barge," as it's known, isn't exactly cool or hip, but that's part of its appeal. Besides, where else can you dance around on a makeshift boat inside a casino with a man-made lake, all in the middle of the desert?
