North Las Vegas

The swath of suburbia north of Downtown Las Vegas that stretches out past Nellis Air Force Base is vast and largely faceless. Some highlights: the Aliante Station Casino + Hotel, and Shadow Creek Golf Course, home to the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational golf tournament every spring. Because the region is so expansive, travel times vary widely, depending on where you’re headed and where you’re coming from. Our advice when traveling to or from this part of town: Rent a car.
