Fodor's Expert Review KettleHouse Brewing Co.
Built in 1909 as a fruit and vegetable warehouse, this historic brick building on the north side of the railroad tracks now hosts the taproom, brewery, and canning operations for KettleHouse Brewing Co. Barrel aging takes place in what was once the banana-ripening room. Try a chocolaty Brick and Mortar Imperial Belgian Porter, Olde Bongwater Hemp Porter, or Fresh Bongwater Hemp Pale Ale. There's no bar food other than peanuts, but you're welcome to bring in fare from local eateries. There's a southside location, too, at 602 Myrtle St.
