Fodor's Expert Review Old Miners Dining Club at The Caretaker's Cabin

Located next to the Pioneer Cabin, the circa-1865 Caretaker's Cabin is one of the oldest houses in Helena, and it's been transformed into a cozy restaurant. The menu is somewhat limited because the kitchen is small; the entire building encompasses only 900 square feet. Dinner items include a handcut porterhouse T-bone steak, a half chicken, grilled salmon, and other seafood; all come with sides (sautéed mushrooms, corn on the cob, breadsticks, or cornbread) and dessert. For lunch, try the burger or turkey sandwich.
