Campgrounds in Red Lodge

Greenough Campground and Lake. Pine trees, a small trout-stocked lake, and gentle hiking trails provide summer respite at Greenough, one of a dozen U.S. Forest Service campgrounds in the Red Lodge vicinity. There's fishing in Greenough Lake ¼ mile from the campground. 10½ miles south of Red Lodge on U.S. 212, then 1 mile west on Hwy. 421, Beartooth Ranger District, Red Lodge 406/446–2103.

Red Lodge KOA. With its heated pool, playground, trout-filled brook, and access to Rock Creek for fishing, this tidy campground is ideal for families. Sites are along the banks of small creeks and among shady willows and pine trees. Reservations are essential in July. 7464 U.S. 212, 4 miles north of Red Lodge 406/446–2364 or 800/562–7540.
