Fodor's Review

About 35 miles east of Glacier, Browning is the center of the Blackfeet Nation, whose name is thought to derive from the color of its members' painted or dyed black moccasins. These days there are about 13,000 enrolled tribal members. The city's main attractions are the Museum of the Plains Indian and the Blackfeet Heritage Center and Art Gallery.
