Fodor's Review

The French expression for the facial muscles that make you smile is les zygomates and this combination wine bar–bistro inarguably lives up to its name, making diners happy with quintessential French bistro fare like the tiered, ice-packed house platter (plateau maison) filled with oysters, clams, shrimp, and snow crab claws, and the unctuous beef short-rib bourguignonne, simply made (with many local ingredients) and simply delicious. The dinner menu beautifully matches the ever-changing wine list, with 20 reds and 20 whites by the glass and hundreds of bottles, including some dating back to 1970, like Château Margaux. There are also live jazz and blues performances five nights a week.
