Fodor's Expert Review Hei-La Moon

Hei-La Moon is located on Beach Street, but don't get lost looking for it; you have to put Chinatown at your back and cross Surface Road, almost into the Leather District. But once you do locate this Cantonese dim sum palace, you will be glad for it—locals fill the large, ornately decorated dining room pretty early in the morning, drinking tea and noshing on small plates brought around by waitstaff on carts. Basically, you see something you like, point to it, and it's yours. This is also a good place for families and groups.
