Connected to the giant Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, the Westin Waterfront is a sea of conventioneers in suits and badges on most days. The 17-story glass-and-steel tower still manages to attract plenty of families, however, who will enjoy the proximity to the Boston Children's Museum.

Room
Guest rooms are handsome, with a neutral palette of whites, tans, and pastels punctuated with cherry-wood furnishings. Most rooms have nice views of the neighborhood and the waterfront. The trademark Westin Heavenly Beds are definitely a highlight.
Tip The hotel's Make a Green Choice Program allows guests to receive a free $5 voucher at certain food and beverage outlets or 500 Starpoints if they agree to decline housekeeping for a night. There are also Soofa solar powered charging stations.

City Bar is the hotel's upscale cocktail bar, while MJ O'Connor's is a bustling Irish pub. Laugh Boston is a stand-up comedy club that regular has popular acts coming through town. There is also Birch Bar in the lobby.
You Should Know During peak convention days, Birch Bar area can become extremely crowded.

Getting Around
The Westin is just 2 minutes from the MBTA's Silver Line, a bus system. To connect to the subway, passengers much switch at South Station. Many guests choose to use Uber or Lyft, however there is usually a line of cabs out front.
Restaurants
The Seaport district is filled with restaurant options. For traditional New England seafood, head to The Barking Crab (17 minute walk). For excellent Italian, Babbo Pizzeria (5 minute drive) is the perfect spot to feast.
