Fodor's Expert Review St. Mary's Square Museum
St. Michaels
Museum/Gallery
In a 17th-century half-timber cabin, the St. Mary's Square Museum preserves local artifacts. The most prominent item in the collection was a shipyard bell that still rings at the start of the workday, at lunch, and at quitting time. The museum also occupies the adjoining Teetotum Building, a yellow clapboard house of the Civil War era named for a children's toy it was thought to resemble.
