Fodor's Expert Review Natalie's Restaurant
One of the most sought-after dining spots in Camden, Natalie's is the creation of Dutch owners Raymond Brunyanszki and Oscar Verest, who brought in chefs to create splurge-worthy dishes in an intimate setting. Located in the cozy and elegant Camden Harbour Inn, the restaurant is fine dining with a distinctly Maine flair, and seasonal ingredients set the tone. Choose from two prix-fixe menus (three courses for $76 or a seven-course chef's tasting menu for $102), which may feature cabbage-wrapped Maine monkfish or local lamb with root veggies. There's also a five-course lobster tasting menu ($109) that may include lobster with peaches and wasabi cream, or Maine lobster salad with sunchoke, caviar, and foie gras. The service is phenomenal. In the lounge, you can order small tapas-style dishes or enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail in front of the big fireplace.
