This circa-1798 West Indies–style Creole plantation home, set on 2 acres of lawns and gardens, has rooms filled with Louisiana antiques, including handsome four-poster featherbeds. Accommodations are in the main house as well as in detached cottages. The grand suite in the private cottage has a skylight over the bed, bookshelves, and a whirlpool bath. A celebrity favorite, this inn has hosted Dan Aykroyd, Alfre Woodard, and Fran Drescher. A cooking school is conducted on the premises.
