Marble counter tops and large, walk-in showers.

There's a gorgeous six-story atrium at the hotel's center, which makes it's public spaces light and airy. Lounge areas and flat-screened televisions fill the open lobby. There's a small gift shop with snacks and souvenirs.

There is ample lounging area in the dining room, where the small bar serves a somewhat limited beer, wine, and cocktail menu.

Getting Around

The hotel provides valet parking, and travelling by foot or pedicab are best within the Quarter. On St. Charles, the streetcar can take you Uptown and to the Garden District. Walk one block to Canal Street, where the streetcar line there can take you to Mid City and City Park.

Luke (3-minute walk) serves solid burgers and fresh oysters, and the New York chain Halal Guys (2-minute walk) is a convenient and tasty spot for casual food served late.

The Catahoula Hotel (6-minute walk) has a hip bar and rooftop lounge, with a bar program built around the Peruvian spirit of Pisco. Loa (3-minute walk) offers craft cocktails in a romantic setting.

There isn't a lot of extra flair, but this hotel has the basics down, and can be a comfortable home base from which to easily explore the rest of the city.
