Fodor's Expert Review Trattoria No. 10
It's hard to camouflage a basement location, but Trattoria No. 10 gives it a good go with terra-cotta colors, arched entryways, and quarry-tile floors, all of which evoke Italy. Pretheater diners crowd in for house specialties made with sustainable, locally sourced ingredients: classic antipasti selections like grilled treviso with mozzarella and hazelnuts, ravioli filled with seasonal stuffings like asparagus and provolone, and grass-fed New York strip steak with argula and shaved fennel. Meanwhile, cheap chowsters elbow into the bar for the $15 nibbles buffet served 5–7:30 pm Tuesday through Friday with a $6 drink minimum.
