Fodor's Expert Review Pizzeria Due
Serving inch-thick pizzas in a comfortable, though well-worn dining room, Pizzeria Due is where everyone goes when they've found out that Uno, the original home of Chicago's deep-dish pizza up the street, has an hour-plus wait. Those in the know, though, say that Due is the place to order thin-crust pizza, while Uno is the traditional deep dish (both restaurants serve both styles). Regardless, Due quickly builds its own waiting list, and it's not unusual to wait for more than an hour here as well. The best strategy for dining out at either spot is to arrive early or opt to come at lunch.
