Fodor's Expert Review Han 202
Tasting menus tend to come with sky-high prices, but that's not the case at this BYOB spot in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, just south of Chinatown. For $35 you get four courses, which can progress from lobster tail with beetroot and honey mustard dressing to Shanghai dumplings, sweet walnut shrimp, and spicy Sichuan duck breast, ending with a small sweet bite, like crème brûlée. While portions aren't overwhelming, they are satisfying. Compared with the low-key entrance, the dining room is sleeker—and more comfortable—than you'd expect, making the southward trek all the more worthwhile.
