Fodor's Expert Review Café des Architectes
French cuisine sometimes gets knocked for being too rich, heavy, and expensive, but this is an image that Southern-born chef Greg Biggers is doing his best to prove wrong at this stylish restaurant on the ground floor of the Sofitel. Biggers serves house-cured charcuterie, robust cheeses, and seasonal dishes like Alaskan halibut with beet relish and mushrooms. Standout sweets, such as the chocolate Opera cake with coffee, ganache, and caramel, are worth the indulgence. Try the three-course executive lunch menu for $24; it's a steal.
