Fodor's Expert Review The Dragon Upstairs
Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.
Though it was once more cool and jazz-centric, The Dragon Upstairs remains a hole-in-the-wall bar to stop at for an eclectic mix of bands, open mikes, live karaoke, and comedy acts (there's usually a small cover charge for live bands). Tucked above Hank's Cafe Honolulu, this small venue is painted a deep red and decorated with dragons and Chinese theater masks. The bar menu is basic but adequate. It's closed Sunday.
