Fodor's Expert Review Downbeat Lounge

Chinatown Bars/Pubs
This dimly lit but welcoming lounge is the soulful little sister of the trendy all-night Downbeat Diner next door, and owned by the same people. There's live music most nights, so it's a great place to catch one of Oahu's local acts. And it's a diverse lineup, from punk, ska, and indie rock, to bluegrass and folk. The lounge serves craft and draft beers as well as creative cocktails focusing on whiskey and moonshine, such as the Oke Punch made with Okolehau Hawaiian Moonshine. If your late-night Chinatown partying has you hankering for a hamburger, you can also order from the diner's menu. The lounge is closed on Sunday.
