Sorabol
Fodor’s Expert Review
Open 24 hours a day on weekends and until 1 am on weeknights, with a tiny parking lot and a maze of booths and private rooms, Sorabol offers a vast menu encompassing the entirety of day-to-day Korean cuisine, plus sushi. English menu translations are cryptic at best, and the decor is a bit tired and off-putting. Still, it's great for wee hour "grinds" (local slang for food): bibimbap (veggies, meats, and eggs on steamed rice), kalbi and bulgogi (barbecued meats), meat or fish jun (thin fillets battered with egg then fried), and kimchi pancakes, and located in the heart of Koreatown, it's a great spot to enjoy Hawaii's Korean connection.
