Fodor's Expert Review Prima
The beautifully blistered pies are cooked in a white-tiled Ferrara kiawe wood-burning oven that you can see in the open kitchen of this bright, light pizzeria with robin's egg–blue Eames shell chairs. This is as Neapolitan as it gets on Oahu, and these are the best pizzas on the island, topped with such ingredients as soppressata, prosciutto, and spicy meatballs, paired with fresh, local produce. At dinner, look for a short menu of chef specials, perhaps a grilled octopus salad or square of roasted pork belly. The brussels sprouts with prosciutto and lemon are outstanding. The strip mall location may be a bit off-putting, but don't be dissuaded. The food more than makes up for it.
