Fodor's Expert Review Pint + Jigger
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Dining trends like the gastro pub are typically late to arrive in Honolulu, but Pint + Jigger was worth the wait. Sit at one of the "beer garden" communal benches or perch at a hightop in this welcoming wood-and-brick room for farm-to-glass cocktails, craft beers, and creative small bites. Try the Scotch egg made with pork rillettes, strips of double-cut bacon spiced with a jalapeño-corn salsa, fried pickles with sriracha aïoli, or a burger topped with stout cheese. Plates are diverse enough to provide everything from a nibble (house-made barbecue potato chips) to a full meal (braised short ribs with polenta). After work (there's a great happy hour) and on weekends, this place is packed. And if NFL is your thing, come early on Sunday (7 am, to be exact), so you can catch your game and still get to the beach. Yes, it looks a little sketchy from the street, but trust us.
Quick Facts
- Great craft beer and good cocktails
- Sunday morning NFL games (7 am kickoff)
- Convivial vibe, but hit-or-miss service
