For those wondering where Sheldon Simeon, one of Bravo's Top Chefs, would land, the answer is Wailea. Simeon invites you to Migrant with the phrase, "Come my house. Eat." The place is casual and comfortable with seating outdoors, indoors, at the bar, and communal table seating. South Shore sunsets provide the backdrop. The food is definitely the main event—modern local cuisine that is tasty and comforting. How about ramen with a French-onion-soup base instead of broth? It's here, and it's delicious. Other must-try dishes are the blistered peppers and the outrageously good Korean fried chicken.
