Restaurants range from fish camps—normally rustic dockside affairs—to the more upscale eateries that tend to spawn around the larger towns and resorts. And though there's still room for growth, the area now has several menus gaining not only local but nationwide attention. The rising tide of quality has begun to lift all boats. Some restaurants still serve food family style.
