Air Travel

The gateway airports for North Georgia are Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta and Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Direct flights are available from Atlanta (ATL) or Charlotte (CLT) to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) with Delta Airlines or American Airlines. The smaller regional airports mostly serve charters and small private planes. The most economical option to reach most destinations in North and Central Georgia is to fly into Atlanta (ATL) and rent a car.
