As part of a 5,600-acre park run by the State of Georgia, these six cottages, set in old-growth hardwoods with 5 miles of hiking trails, offer a peaceful retreat. The centerpiece is a two-story, five-bedroom cabin constructed of Montana lodgepole pine. Dukes Creek, one of the best trout streams in Georgia, runs through the park. The cottages are often booked for executive retreats, so call ahead.
