Have Mickey Waffles for Breakfast

WHERE: All Parks & Resorts

Start your morning with a Disney food staple: Mickey waffles. These can be found at breakfast buffets throughout the parks and resorts, but the best way to enjoy them is at one of Disney’s all-you-can-eat breakfast spots like ‘OHana at the Polynesian Resort or the Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. Most spots also offer a gluten-free version of the waffle, so the whole family can enjoy!

INSIDER TIPGot a chocolate lover in the family? Head to Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom for a chocolate version of this iconic treat. Bonus: With a breakfast reservation before the park opens, you can get into the park before anyone else—snapping some unforgettable pictures without all of the crowds.

Cool Off With a Mickey Premium Bar

WHERE: All Parks & Resorts

The Mickey Premium Bar can be found at carts across every park and resort, so there’s no excuse not to add this to your list. This ice cream dessert is simple but decadent: Creamy vanilla ice cream wrapped in a hard Nestlé chocolate shell on a popsicle stick. What could be better? Make sure you grab a ton of napkins—you WILL get ice cream and melted chocolate all over your face in the Florida heat. But that’s part of the magic.

INSIDER TIPThe ice cream carts are everywhere; if there’s a long line, move on. Chances are you’ll find another cart nearby.

Enjoy a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich

WHERE: All Parks & Resorts

Less well known than the Mickey Premium Bar, the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich deserves its own mention. You can find it at the same ice cream carts located throughout the parks and resorts.

It’s one of the largest ice cream sandwiches you’ll ever purchase, with cookies and cream ice cream between two chocolate wafer cookies. It’s a cut above your standard ice cream sandwiches at home, and not just because it’s shaped like Mickey!

Get Classy With a Mickey Mousse

WHERE: Amorette’s Patisserie, Disney Springs

Located only in Disney Springs, this chocolate chiffon cake is filled with white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse and topped with two chocolate Mickey ears. It’s small enough that you don’t have to share, and you won’t want to.

If you’re craving something sweet at Disney Springs and you don’t want to wait in line at the Sprinkle’s bakery, Amorette’s is the perfect option. Their hot chocolate alone is worth the stop, and your mouth will drop over their gorgeous selection of character cakes.

INSIDER TIPFor a real splurge, consider taking one of Amorette’s 90-minute small group cake decorating classes, offered Sundays through Thursdays at 9:00 AM. To take the class, you have to sign up ahead of time on the Disney website or app.

Detox With Mickey Cucumbers

WHERE: The Garden Grill, EPCOT

If all this talk of sweet stuff is giving you a sugar headache, there’s still a Mickey-shaped food you can eat. Order a hearty salad at the Garden Grill at EPCOT. You’ll find a special surprise—Mickey shaped cucumbers!

You can see how they’re grown right on the property on the Living with the Land Ride, a backstage tour of EPCOT’s gardens and sustainable practices. Then, you can head upstairs to the restaurant, a family-style all-you-can-eat spot that slowly revolves around scenes from the ride. Plus, you’ll meet Chip, Dale, and their Disney pals!

INSIDER TIPDining at a character meal is one of the best ways to meet and greet with characters without having to stand in long lines in the hot sun. It’s easy—they come to you. If you’re thinking about a character meal, make sure to make a reservation. Especially in high season, you won’t be able to get a table without one.

Celebrate the Holidays With a Mickey Caramel Apple

WHERE: All Parks & Disney Springs

Another classic Disney dessert, Mickey-shaped caramel apples can be found in most candy cases throughout the parks and at the Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Co. at Disney Springs. These are the perfect combination of sweet and tart, made from green apples coated in a thick layer of caramel, rolled in sprinkles or sugar, and topped with two marshmallow ears—all covered in a thick layer of chocolate.

The best part about this dessert is the wide variety you’ll find based on the seasons. With everything from a St. Patrick’s Day shamrock apple to a pumpkin version for Halloween, you’re bound to find a treat unique not just to Disney but to the time of year as well.

And if you’re looking at this wondering how you’re possibly going to eat it, don’t fret. You can always ask a cast member to slice it for you! (Don’t forget to take your photos first!).

Eat Mickey Pasta for Dinner

WHERE: Variety of Parks & Resorts

And you thought mac n’ cheese couldn’t get any better: Buttery, delicious, cheesy goodness with every Mickey-shaped bite. While you can order Mickey’s Macaroni & Cheese at a variety of spots, one of the best is at Chef Mickey’s in the Contemporary Resort—where you can meet the mouse himself!

INSIDER TIPWhile this is technically on the Mouseketeer (Kid’s) Menu, you shouldn’t have trouble ordering it as an adult. Cast members will even ask if you want an adult-size portion. The magic is real.

Munch on Chocolate-Covered Mickey Rice Krispies

WHERE: All Parks & Resorts

You’ll see these crispy, mouthwatering treats throughout the parks, but our favorite place to enjoy them is at the Confectionery in Magic Kingdom. There’s something special about how the classic candy corner combines the sweet smells of marshmallow and ice cream with the sounds of Main Street USA.

You’ll find a wide variety of options regardless of where you go: On a stick, pre-packaged, dipped in chocolate, or covered sprinkles, depending on what you like.

These are also a great choice if you’re looking to bring home an edible souvenir. As long as you don’t get one dipped in chocolate, they pack well and are a great final snack on your airplane ride home.

Minnie-Shaped Rose Gold Cupcake

WHERE: Sunshine Seasons, EPCOT

The most Insta-worthy of all these Mickey-shaped foods? The Minnie Mouse Rose Gold Cupcake. Not only is it adorable, but it’s pretty tasty too. This vanilla-and chocolate-marbled cake is slathered with a generous helping of buttercream frosting and topped with rose gold Minnie ears made of fondant. If you’re a frosting lover, this is heaven! This super-popular cupcake sells out quickly, so make sure to swing by early in the day if you want to try it.

While the rose gold phenomenon may not last too long, you can always find some incredible confections at Sunshine Seasons. From red velvet whoopie pies to seriously amazing carrot cake cupcakes, you won’t want to miss this spot. Cruise over after riding Living with the Land or Soarin’, all located within the same building.
