Fodor's Expert Review Orange County Regional History Center

Central Orlando Museum/Gallery

Exhibits here take you on a journey back in time to discover how Florida's Paleo-Indians hunted and fished the land, what the Sunshine State was like when the Spaniards first arrived, and how life in Florida was different when citrus was king. Exhibitions cover the history of citrus-growing in Central Florida, samples of the work of the famed Highwaymen painters, and the advancement of the theme parks. Traveling exhibits bring modern technology and art to the museum. Free audio tours are available.
