Fodor's Expert Review Beaver Creek Chophouse
A ski-in ski-out restaurant right at the base of Centennial Lift, the Beaver Creek Chophouse is a favorite people-watching après-ski hangout. The food is hearty—the 20-ounce bone-in rib eye is the most popular plate followed by a decadent spin on comfort food: lobster mac-and-cheese. When the snow is blowing try some of the hot specialty drinks like a hot-buttered rum or a Butterfinger (with hot cocoa and Godiva and butterscoth liqueurs). You can also select from over 200 wines and eight beers on tap. You didn't hear it here, but show up at 3:30 for the free afternoon champagne toasts during ski season.
