Fodor's Expert Review Dino Digs

Ever wonder what it's like to be on a dinosaur expedition? Here's your chance. From June to August, Museums of Western Colorado sponsors one- to five-day Dino Digs all over northwestern Colorado, and folks find fresh fossils all the time. The area includes some rich Late Jurassic soil, Morrison Formation sites, and other well-preserved zones that make for impressive discoveries. You never know what might be unearthed.
