Built in 1919 as a boardinghouse for miners, this historic hotel has been painstakingly renovated; step into the lobby and you will encounter a slower pace of life and extraordinary attention to detail. The rooms are full of light, and the full-service bar is a deep, rich walnut. The common areas feature a library and a baby grand piano. A full hot breakfast is served in a cheerfully trimmed breakfast nook and includes made-to-order lattes and cappuccinos.
