Fodor's Expert Review Manitou Cliff Dwellings

Colorado Springs Museum/Gallery

Some Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings that date from the 1100s to the 1400s have been moved from other sites in southern Colorado to this museum. Two rooms of artifacts in the museum offer information on the history of the dwellings. Smartphone codes provide a free audio tour through the space and a local woman occasionally brings rescue wolves to the museum, bringing the history to life.
