Fodor's Expert Review Gualala Point Regional Park

Gualala Park/Playground

This 195-acre park with picnic areas and a long, sandy beach is an excellent whale-watching spot from December through April. Birders and hikers head here year-round. Take the Bluff Top Trail for ocean vistas, the River Trail for views of the Gualala River estuary, a wildlife haven.
