Just about every seat in the darkly lighted, urbane dining room has a view of this downtown bistro's most important feature, a wood-fired brick oven used to prepare everything from roasted local Kumamoto oysters to a wild-mushroom cobbler topped with a cheesy biscuit—even the "fries," char-roasted potatoes tossed in olive oil and spices, come out of the oven. Creatively topped pizzas, sandwiches, and grilled meats and seafood round out the menu. Next door, enjoy a glass of vino in the aptly named 2 Doors Down wine bar.
