Jenner Travel Guide

The Russian River empties into the Pacific Ocean at Jenner, a wide spot in the road where houses dot a mountainside high above the sea. Facing south, the village looks across the river's mouth to Goat Rock Beach . North of the village, Fort Ross State Historic Park provides a glimpse into Russia’s early-19th-century foray into California. South of the fort a winery named for the fort grows Chardonnay and Pinot Noir above the coastal fog line. North of the fort lie more beaches and redwoods to hike and explore.
