Fodor's Review

A good introduction to Temecula, this two-story museum on the edge of Old Town focuses on the valley's role in California's history, from the early days of the Luiseño Indians and the mission and cattle-ranching periods to the present era of wine making and tourism. A permanent second-floor exhibit is devoted to Erle Stanley Gardner, the prolific author of the Perry Mason mysteries and a longtime Temecula resident.
