Resembling a giant log cabin, this four-story lodge pays homage to Big Bear's mountain roots with the lobby's antler chandelier and stone fireplace. Rooms, which range from standard doubles to a few huge suites great for families, retain the log-cabin motif with bark-veneer doors and small-timber headboards, but the updated decor largely incorporates chain-standard furnishings. Some rooms have balconies or patios, gas fireplaces, or whirlpool tubs. Amenities include a pool, gym, and sauna, as well as Stillwells Restaurant and Lounge, which serves traditional American cuisine.
