Internet

The city of San Francisco offers free Wi-Fi service in selected parks and areas in and around the city. All public libraries also provide Internet access, and most hotels have a computer stationed in the lobby with free (if shared) high-speed access for guests. Some hotels can charge a small fee to provide a high-speed connection in the room; others offer it free of charge. In addition, many cafés throughout San Francisco, Marin County, and the East Bay offer complimentary Wi-Fi, but a few continue to charge a fee. For a list of free hotspots, check the OpenWiFiSpots site (www.openwifispots.com).
