Fodor's Review

To find Craig and Annie Stoll's cultishly adored Northern Italian spot, just look for the crowds. They're a constant fixture here, as are deceptively simple, exquisitely flavored dishes like the signature spaghetti with plum tomatoes. If Piemontese fresh white truffles have made their way to San Francisco, you are likely to find the pricey aromatic fungus shaved over all manner of pastas. The panna cotta is the best in its class. Aluminum-topped tables are squeezed into an urban interior, with hardwood floors and a tile bar that seems to radiate with happiness.
