A small indoor lap pool just off the spa caters to travelers who swim for exercise. Though kids are allowed, the pool is not necessarily a kid-zone. There is a small hot tub as well.

This party pool seems like it would be more fitting in SoCal than SF. Yet somehow this rocking hotel pulls it off. A heated pool in the center of this hip motor inn, with a lounge that spills out to the lounge chairs that surround the pool. Day parties with DJs go off weekends.
Hotel Del Sol
Why it made the list
Maybe the funnest pool in town, complete with hammocks and beach balls, snacks and a retro-chic vibe. The ground is painted like a beach ball, strung lights add color to the palm trees, and the saltwater makes guests feel like they are at the beach.
The Scarlet Huntington Hotel
Why it made the list
One of the nicest pools in the city, this indoor oasis overlooks the entire bay. There's a hot tub, comfy lounge chairs and even mimosa service for those really wanting to unwind. Kids unfortunately are not allowed.
Hotel Nikko, San Francisco
Why it made the list
This luxury property's heated 15-meter indoor pool is ideal for lap swimmers. Families should note that lap swimmers do get possessive of their lanes. Heat up in the Jacuzzi, or roast S'mores around the fire pits on the outdoor pool deck. Lounge chairs are perfectly places to soak up some rays.
