Fodor's Expert Review Hadley's Fruit Orchards

At the Cabazon exit of Interstate 10, Hadley's sells dried fruit, nuts, wine, and their famous date shakes made with caramel-tasting Deglet Noor dates grown in California. The Hadleys developed the recipe for trail mix in the 1950s. In addition to the dried fruit, you can get candy and old-fashioned sodas here. There's also a snack bar.
