Plus free parking and it's refunadable!
There were many times throughout the last couple of years when the idea of taking a family trip felt out of reach (and it may still be difficult for many). But if you’re fully vaccinated and comfortable with the idea of traveling again, then what would be a better place to take your family than the Happiest Place on Earth?
Anaheim, California is known as the home of Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland Park is the original theme park, opened by Walt Disney himself in 1955. If you’re a Disney fan, then you must already know all the classic adventures to be had here: Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Small World. A must-do is definitely the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for an otherworldly adventure.
The Disney California Adventure Park is the second Disney theme park and it reflects the vibe of Southern California. Plus, The Avengers Campus opened this summer—all fresh and ready for young (and old) superheroes to find their next mission.
The Disney parks also shut their gates after the pandemic, but it’s again possible to give your family the joy of parades, fireworks, and rides—a little bit of happiness that Disney promises. Just remember that spring, summer, and fall holidays can be expensive, while in January, February, and May, you will be able to score a good price for park tickets. There are three hotels on property and Disney has also given its approval to other properties around town, including the high-end JW Marriott, Sheraton, and Hyatt and the moderately priced Tropicana Inn, Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel, and Grand Legacy at the Park.

One of these Good Neighborhood Hotels—and the one we’re recommending right now—is the newly-opened Radisson Blu Anaheim. And it’s currently offering a 61% discount on stays.
Radisson Blu Anaheim opened last year in November and the shiny new hotel has an amazing offering going on Travelzoo: $135 per night (Sunday through Thursday) or $165 per night (Friday and Saturday) in a standard king or two-queen room, plus free daily parking (normally priced at $25), and an upgrade to a higher floor room or Firework View King room for $30 per night.

And here’s the best part: you can book this deal now and travel anytime before September 2022! Blackout dates apply. But if you choose not to go, you’ll get a full refund!
The hotel is located just one mile from Disneyland, so it’s easily accessible (you will not be able to walk it though). It features a family-friendly pool with cabanas and a rooftop pool and bar. Guests also have access to complimentary wi-fi and there’s a marketplace for grab-and-go breakfasts.
Spread out in the area are also shops and restaurants, so you’ll have more to do than you can possibly imagine. Also, check the schedule for annual and seasonal events before you go—Festival Feasting, Christmas Fantasy Parade, and Disney ¡Viva Navidad! are on the calendar currently.
As a heads up, although Fodor’s fully endorses this deal, we receive a small commission on this transaction.
