Calling all food-lovers: next month, culinary masterminds from across the world will come together for the All-Star Chef Classic Los Angeles for four days (March 8-11) of intimate and lively tastings, all taking place at L.A. Live downtown.
Masters Dinners held in the state-of-the-art Restaurant Stadium will highlight international and domestic cuisine (French, Italian, American, and East/West), and give guests an up-close and personal look at the action (dramatic lighting and all). Each course will be paired with specially selected wines. In the Chef’s Tasting Arena, guests can try dishes from 18 different booths. Unlimited beer and wine (yes, you read the correctly), as well as nonalcoholic beverages will be available to wash down tasty Southern specialties, savory grilled bites, desserts, and more. On Saturday, kids can take cooking classes with celebrity chefs (talent TBA; last year Sarah Michelle Gellar was a host). See the full list of events here.
Some of L.A.’s best restaurants will be represented at this year’s event: Scopa’s Antonia Lofaso, Little Dom’s Brandon Boudet, and Spago’s Della Gossett are all featured chefs, as well as Duff Goldman (Food Network’s Ace of Cakes and Cake Masters, and owner of Charm City Cakes), and former Cupcake Wars winner/Southern Girl Desserts owner Catarah Coleman. See the full talent lineup here, and check back as more all-stars are added.
This event is reserved for serious foodies with money to burn: Gold and Platinum VIP tickets are available and range from $295-$425, so come hungry. Tickets here.
