Mountain biking is permitted on any of the back roads and roadways open to the public (bikes aren’t permitted on hiking trails). Visit www.nps.gov/deva/planyourvisit/bikingandmtbiking.htm for a list of suggested routes for all levels of ability.
Bicycle Path, a 4-mile round-trip trek from the visitor center to Mustard Canyon, is a good place to start. Bike rentals are available at the Oasis at Death Valley, by the hour or by the day.
