Fodor's Review

A charming, wood-paneled restaurant and Victorian lounge inside the 1905 Hotel Seward, Ms. Gene's serves breakfast and dinner year-round. The dinner menu changes weekly, though dishes such as seared ahi tuna, Ms. Gene's bacon-wrapped scallops, and grilled rib-eye steak appear frequently. There are only five tables for dining in the lounge, but three additional dining rooms each seat eight people. If it's on the menu, the halibut-cheeks piccata is highly recommended.
