Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge

Raspberry Island, Kodiak, Alaska, 99615, USA

Fodor’s Expert Review

Using hydroelectric power, this remote lodge allows you to rough it in style, its five cozy cabins (each sleeping two and four) scattered about but within walking distance of an outdoor hot tub and banya, and the main house where meals are served. This lodge is a relaxing scenic getaway or an excellent base camp for hiking, bear viewing, fishing, and hunting. Packages (four-night minimum) include meals and guided hiking and kayaking trips, plus boat transportation from Kodiak. The inn's satellite phone service is spotty; it's best to contact them by email.
